1. Who operates this site

MOH Managed — managed IT, systems and cybersecurity services for small businesses, operated by Mohamed Farah, Pointe-Claire, Québec, Canada.

We work on site across the Montréal area and remotely. There is no walk-in address, and no premises open to the public, so none is published here.

2. Language — Charter of the French Language

Under the Charter of the French Language, commercial publications — websites included — must be available in French, and the French version must be available on terms at least as favourable as any other language version.

Every page of this site exists in French and in English. Both are published under their own address, both are reachable from the language switch in the header of every page, and a visitor whose browser prefers French is offered the French version. Neither version is a subordinate translation of the other: the two are generated from a single source, so they cannot drift apart, and a change to one is a change to both.

No transaction, form or download on this site requires the use of English.

If you find a page where the French version is missing, incomplete, or offered on lesser terms than the English, write to contact@mohmanaged.ca and we will correct it.

3. What this site is, and is not

The content here is general information about our services. It is not a contract, not a quotation, not an offer capable of acceptance, and not professional advice for any particular situation. Nothing on this site creates a client relationship. Engagements begin with a written scope of work, agreed in advance, which governs what is delivered and on what terms.

Descriptions of past work are deliberately general. Client names are not published. Any figure shown is aggregate and de-identified, and nothing on this site describes the environment of any client or employer.

4. The security self-check

The self-check is an educational self-assessment that runs in your browser. It asks you about your own practices and reflects your own answers back to you.

• It is not a security audit, a penetration test, a scan, or any examination of your systems. It never touches them.
• It is not a certification, and no result it produces is one.
• It is not a guarantee of insurability, and it does not predict what any insurer, broker or underwriter will decide. Insurers set their own questions and their own thresholds, and those change.
• It is not a statement of compliance with any law, framework or standard.

A good result does not mean you are secure, and a poor one does not mean you are uninsurable. Treat it as a prompt for a conversation, not a verdict.

5. Claims we do not make

We would rather say this plainly here than let an impression form:

• MOH Managed does not hold a SOC 2 report and does not claim SOC 2, ISO 27001 or any equivalent certification.
• We do not claim to be certified, accredited or authorised by any vendor, regulator or standards body except where a specific credential is named.
• Where we name a certification, an employer or an engagement, it is stated as background. No association, sponsorship or endorsement by any third party is implied.

6. Trade marks and intellectual property

The text, design, code, and the MOH Managed name and shield are the property of MOH Managed unless stated otherwise, and may not be reproduced as a whole without permission. Quoting a passage with attribution and a link is welcome.

Third-party names and marks that appear on this site — software, platforms, employers, standards bodies — belong to their respective owners and are used descriptively, to say what we work with or where we have worked. Their appearance does not imply any relationship between those owners and MOH Managed.

7. Links to other sites

Where this site links elsewhere, we do not control what is published there and are not responsible for it.

8. Limitation of liability

We take care that what is published here is accurate at the time of writing, but it is provided as general information, without warranty of any kind, express or implied. Security practice changes; a page may age.

To the fullest extent the law allows, MOH Managed is not liable for any loss or damage arising from reliance on this site's general content. Nothing in this paragraph limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and nothing here affects our obligations under a signed engagement — those are governed by that agreement, not by this page.

9. Accessibility

This site is built to WCAG 2.2 AA colour contrast, and is designed to be:

• fully operable with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator;
• readable without JavaScript — every page's content is in the HTML;
• respectful of the reduced-motion setting in your operating system, which turns off every animation on the site;
• legible at 200 % zoom and on a small screen, with no horizontal scrolling;
• never dependent on colour alone to convey information — severity is always labelled in words as well.

If something here is not usable for you, write to contact@mohmanaged.ca. We will fix it, and we would genuinely like to know.

10. Privacy

How personal information is handled — what is collected, where it is stored, how long it is kept, and your rights over it — is set out in our privacy policy.

11. Governing law

This site and the services described on it are governed by the laws in force in the Province of Québec and the federal laws of Canada applicable there. The courts of the judicial district of Montréal have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rule that gives you the right to bring proceedings where you live.

12. Changes

This notice may be updated. The date above shows when it last changed.
